You have wonderful things to look forward to. Kick that negative woman out of your head and enjoy it. Oh man, I wish I had a son to come and help me sort out a few computer glitches.
I don't know where Hog Heaven came from either... but I do believe there are animals in heaven... at least I hope so!

Alexandra

awww...look at all the great things you have to look forward to. Chin up!! :) *hugs*

Mmm

Things are certainly taking on a brighter hue now, aren't they?

Kick out that bitch voice. Call yourself sweetie,'cause you are.Nurture yourself.I sincerely mean that because we can do untold damage to ourselves.I tell my daughter "If you had a child, would you talk to her, the way you talk to yourself, and be that harsh?" Of course not. I don't know where that monkey on our shoulder comes from, but we don't need it. In nurture versus nasty, I'd go for nurture every time...and what a beautiful photo of your family. Without you they wouldn't exist! Happy Halloween Anya and remember, negative feelings are like those stray black Halloween cats. The more you feed them the more they hang around.Tell 'em scat.

You must make your own M. Invincible's room as cozy and perfect as can be so that she will stay longer each time she visits. Wink. Have I got a yappy negative sad blah person living in my head sharing this old brick with Madam I ... do I. You know I do. Hope you have a fantastic week with your family. love, Susan

Got here via Pam's.
You go girl, don't you listen to that crabby voice inside you. I can only tell you from someone whose being divorced a long time, being your own person is the best. If only cause I can eat toast and tea at three in the morning if i want, with no-one to tell me otherwise when I'm not sleeping

Hello, I come by way of the Black Box. What an interesting story you have to share-I'm sure to be back often.

Re: The voice in your head (I giggled when you called her a bitch) for many Christmases and birthdays I have wished for an off switch, right in the center of my forehead-I'd even surrender to the annoyance of bangs if I could shut that bitch up! Peace and wellness,
Tameka.

what a beautiful pic Anya.... reminds me of my sister's area in B.C. you can see for miles between the mountains... lovely green farming fields ..... the smells..... well, some of the smells are great, others like the huge 2,000 cow dairy operation near her is not really....but you know what I mean.

I sure hope you all had a great week visiting and tidying .... I bet you got a lot accomplished.

Enjoy Halloween.... I'll be watching Sleepy Hollow tonight.... .....

Alexandra

I come to you via the black box widget and I'm pleased to find you surrounded by your son and granddaughter for Halloween. Come and say hello to me in France

My Photo

me

  • My name is Anya and I live in the mountains of Colorado, with my 10 year old grand daughter Katy, and a fish named Duke. After 40 years of marriage I find myself suddenly divorced; and for the first time in my life I'm on my own making all the decisions myself, and raising a child again many years after doing it the first time. Almost everything has changed for me...and everything that still hasn't will eventually. But I'm thinking this is a rare gift for me to be able to build a whole new life for myself. I know it won't be smooth sailing all the way; but I'm looking forward to the ride!
